Cassia Kream

This is our take on a distinctly classic recipe. Cream sodas originated in the U.S. in the mid 1800’s. Back then a cream soda was often made with ingredients like whipped egg, milk, and cream of tartar. A Brooklyn doctor began to bottle and sell his cream sodas, which were marketed more like health elixirs that included celery and ginger as flavorings. Later, the invention of synthetic vanillin made cream soda widely accessible to the public and gave it a smooth, subtle creaminess. Our More Good Cassia Kream is made with real vanilla, cinnamon, and roasted kola nut. We’d like to think soda makers of days past would be impressed by our unique take on this quintessential flavor.
